IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Elektronite games use the JLP cartridge from Left Turn Only!
The JLP cartridge is an advanced Intellivision cartridge that provides a large amount of storage for modern Intellivision games. It supports Mattel bank switching as seen in the ECS game 'World Series Major League Baseball' and extra RAM (Random Access Memory) as seen in the Intellivision game 'USCF Chess'. Additionally, it provides static flash memory which is used by programmers for game saves and high score saves right on the cartridge! Unfortunately, Intellivision emulators, such as Nostalgia and Retroarch do NOT support JLP games. The vast majority of newly written Intellivision games use the JLP cartridge.

Currently, JZINTV is the ONLY emulator that supports JLP games. The Intellivision Sprint runs the JZINTV emulator, so is compatible with our games. However, there are a few things you must know about Intellivision game ROMS.
There are a few types of Intellivision ROMS you will find online.
BIN/CFG files:
"Bin/CFG" files are the standard combination that will work on every Intellivision emulator. The 'bin' or the binary part of the game, and the 'cfg' or the configuration part of the game. The 'cfg' files tells the emulator where in the Intellivision memory map to place the binary. The 'bin' and 'cfg' files should be named the exact same name. Only the extender is different. DO NOT DISCARD THE CFG FILE!!! It is as important as the binary.
ROM files:
"ROM" files are files that combine the bin/cfg files into one. The format was developed for the Cuttle Cart for the Intellivision. Unfortunately, not every bin/cfg can be converted into a ROM file. Games that use bank switching can NOT be converted into a ROM file.
INT files:
"Int" files are simply renamed BIN files that are missing the configuration file. The extender was done by people who wanted to identify Intellivision binaries, but were ignorant of the REQUIREMENT for a configuration file to accompany the binary file. Many early Intellivision games, such as Baseball, Checkers, Armor Battle, etc. use the same memory configuration. Therefore, if a binary (.int file) is missing the configuration file, it will use a default configuration. So, just because it runs, doesn't mean that it's a complete Intellivision ROM. Bottom line, rename 'int' files to 'bin' and find the corresponding 'cfg' file.
